But it's important
for you to know that as a Great American collector, you can be proud
that your collectible is one of the last remaining line of folk art
resin collectibles 100% made in the USA. This is because we're the
ONLY resin collectible figurine manufacturer of our size
that still makes everything in the USA. Our collectors place more value on the experience of collecting a
traditional American piece of artwork than on being able to
get the collectible for $9.95 at Walmart. Most companies go overseas
because they are maximizing company profits. We have to make money, obviously,
but we'd rather make less (WAY less) if it means keeping our operations
in the USA.
We mold each character from an original wood carving
(using silicone) then cast each collectible from high quality
American resin. The end result gives your collectible a traditional wood appearance. Then
each is painted by hand in the homes of one of our 200+ painters
from across the USA.
Limited Edition
Your Old World Witch is individually numbered
making it a Limited Edition collectible. This means we limit each character to a specific number of castings before retiring the mold.
Our current Old World Witches are limited to a maximum of 250 per
character (except Emma Witch, who
was limited to only 75.)
You can purchase
the current Old World Witches here at collectwitches.com until we have sold out of the
allotted serial numbers or until we retire them, whichever comes
first. If we have any left over serial numbers for a given witch
once she retires, she will only be sold through our distributors and/or retail partner stores
across the USA, at prices most likely higher than their original
retail price.
Collecting Experience
We feel there should be more to collecting than just buying
something cute. Moreover, a company should do more than just create a character people can love. It also extends to the packaging and so many other little details. For example, each Old World
Witch comes in a sturdy gift box, suitable for off season storage. On the gift box is a full-color label picturing the character inside. It also displays the character's story for easy
reference. In addition, each
Old World Witch comes with a full-color story card which can be displayed alongside your
witch so your visitors/friends/family can familiarize themselves with her.
Create a

Last but not least, as the owner of a Great
American Old World Witch, you can send for a free, full-color Certificate of Ownership and Authenticity. This gives
you a lasting reminder of your purchase and can be passed down to
your children and grandchildren, creating a collecting legacy for future
family generations and giving your ancestors something to
remember you by and hearken back to.
